Giancarlo Guizzardi is a full professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (SCS group) at the University of Twente, in The Netherlands. He is also a Full Professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. He obtained his PhD degree (with the highest distinction) from the University of Twente, in The Netherlands, in 2005.
